LUYA instills a lifetime of mathematical prowess and a life-long hunger to continue learning. We create an educational environment for observing, questioning, thinking, and expressing. We encourage creative thinking, independent problem solving, self-motivation, and confidence. Most of all, we make math fun!
LUYA students have three specific mathematical abilities: comprehension, calculation, and expression. Our students comprehend mathematical concepts and rules and can translate problems into mathematical information. Ultimately, we inspire motivation to learn and interest in mathematics that they will carry with them wherever they go.
At LUYA Academy, our students study two curricula in mathematics: the national Taiwan program and the Common Core program in English. We strive to not only provide our students with the best that Taiwan has to offer but to also provide other ways of learning and understanding
mathematics. Having mathematics programs gives our students the ability to excel in mathematics in any context and in any country.
